Our number one goal is to advocate for our Alabama children in the Alabama Legislature. Each year we formulate an extensive Legislative Agenda.
Children First Trust Fund
The biggest accomplishment of Children First is the creation of the Children First Trust Fund. Since it's creation in 1998, The protection of the CFTF is our first priority each legislative session.

Alabama Family Central is packed full of resources for you and for your family. Alabama Family Central has been a goal for several years from the creation of the Department of Children’s Affairs in 2001 through the priorities of the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet in recent years. As a single platform for families to access services and programs, its purpose is to help families easily navigate and find links to supports they need.
